ARWE 2019 International Forum will become the most large-scale event in the field of renewable energy in Russia

On June 25, under the chairmanship of Sergey Morozov, Governor of Ulyanovsk Region, Moscow hosted the first meeting of the ARWE 2019 Organizing Committee that is in charge of the Alternative Resources of World Energy International Forum preparation and holding. The event was attended by Vladimir Zatynayko, General Director of Elektrifikatsiya JSC and Igor Bryzgunov, Chairman of RAWI (Russian Association of Wind Industry).

The participants of the meeting discussed the work being done on developing a business agenda for ARWE 2019 with the focus on effective interaction of suppliers and key clients in the field of renewable energy sources within the framework of localization programs.

The participants of the meeting discussed at length the Forum concept which brings together the Congress, the International Specialized Exhibition and the Technical Tour.

The Congress will include a number of business events dedicated to various important aspects of industry development, with participation of government officials, major energy and investment companies and recognized experts in the field of renewable energy sources.

At the ARWE Exhibition, for the first time ever, well-known manufacturers and suppliers will demonstrate state-of-art technologies and equipment, and potential market players will present innovative solutions for the development of the industry.

The technical tour implies Forum participants visiting various production facilities of Ulyanovsk Region, the pioneer region in exploring opportunities of wind energy.

“We are paying significant attention to issues in wind energy; we have been working in this field for a long time, and have become a leader among regions that focus on development of alternative energy. We are working on building wind parks, implementing a localization project for industries producing component for the wind energy sector. Therefore, it is quite logical that our region should become a venue for exchanging best practices in the industry,” Sergey Morozov, Governor of Ulyanovsk Region said, giving his comments on the progress of Forum preparations.

“In preparing the Congress agenda, we will take into consideration the ongoingglobal changes, and focus on long-term solutions. We are hopeful that at ARWE 2019 our participants will have a chance to present practical experience, which is so important for development of the industry, and discuss it with public representatives and investors,” said Igor Bryzgunov, Chairman of RAWI, sharing his vision.

The key feature of ARWE 2019 is strengthening of the investment block, which includes direct interaction between regional development corporations, equipment suppliers and major companies within the sector.

“Particular attention will be paid to creating the image of the region as the territory attractive for investments, as well as to holding business meetings with investors who are willing and have the opportunity to participate in regional localization programs within Russia. Today we can rightly say that in terms of the number of ARWE 2019 participants and the entry list, this event will be the largest one in the alternative energy sector in Russia and      in the CIS countries. Visitors to the exhibition will have a chance to see with their own eyes the life-size parts of wind generators – gondolas, blades, bearings of the rotation gear, dozens of times exceeding human height,” noted Vladimir Zatynayko, General Director of Elektrifikatsiya JSC.

Additionally, the meeting participants discussed the program for promoting the Forum topics at foreign events dealing with RES issues, including wind energy, in particular.

We should remind that in 2019 Ulyanovsk Region will host ARWE 2019, the largest International Forum on Renewable Energy. The event will take place at ULNANOTECH Center of Nanotechnologies with support of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation and in collaboration with RAWI.

The event is being organized by Elektrifikatsiya JSC, one of the major operators of congress and exhibition projects in the field of power industry, and includes a Russian Energy Week, ENES, the All-Russian Energy-Saving Festival #VmesteYarche, etc.
