The future of alternative energy to be discussed at ARWE Forum in Ulyanovsk



The participants in the All Renewable World Energy (ARWE) International Forum, which will take place in Ulyanovsk on May 22–24, will discuss the issues of developing alternative sources of energy and the future of creating infrastructure to make electric cars an accessible mode of transportation, the press service of the Governor and the Government of Ulyanovsk Region said.

"ARWE <...> promises to become a major event in the sector of renewable energy sources in Russia and the FSU countries," the press service of the Governor of Ulyanovsk Region has quoted him as saying.

The plenary session of the Forum, which will be held on its first day, will be dedicated to the future development of renewable energy sources in Russia – the energy of wind, sun, and mountain rivers. The Golden Wind Prize, awarded for considerable contribution to development of wind energy in Russia, will be presented on the first day of the conference.

Electric car charging stations

One of the discussions will focus on the equipment for charging stations for electric cars, Alexander Chepukhin, Chairman of the Ulyanovsk Region Committee for Budget and Economic Policy of the Regional Assembly, told TASS.
